Dr. Anthony Yeung attended the 14th Annual Congress of Chinese Orthopaedic Association held in Shanghai, China. There, he was invited to give a Master Talk about emerging technologies in the field of endoscopic spine surgery.

This historical update and discussion on the current status of endoscopic spine surgery summarizes Dr. Anthony Yeung’s 30 years at DISC. Dr. Yeung retired from DISC in 2019, leaving his legacy to his son, Dr. Chris Yeung, and his team of fellowship trained spine surgeons with similar interest and in-house training in MIS spine.

20th Anniversary YESS Lecture

Dr. Anthony Yeung has been invited to China this month (October 10-20, 2018) to give his 20th Anniversary lecture on his Master Talk – The Role and Future of Endoscopic Surgery in the Treatment of Symptomatic Conditions of the Spine.

In this talk, Dr. Anthony Yeung speaks about the role of endoscopic spine surgery in the treatment of painful degenerative lumbar spine conditions and shares his extensive experience regarding endoscopic spine surgery and where the procedure’s future is headed.

Dr. Yeung speaks at grand opening.

Dr. Anthony Yeung travelled to Taiwan as a guest of the Taiwan Pain Society, an Academic Society of professors of Pain Management, Anesthesiologists, and who is expanding membership to include Endoscopic Spine surgeons.

There he attended the grand opening of a multidisciplinary spine health clinic by Clide (Chen Hua Chen), one of his neurosurgical endoscopic fellows, who opened three multidisciplinary clinics in Taiwan.

2015 ACMISST Conference at Cidade De Goa, India

ASIA MISS and IITTSS held a combined meeting in Goa, India in September. It was the 4th meeting of ACMIIST and was also supported by the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery & Techniques (WCMISST).

The meeting was held at Cidade de Goa at Dona Paula, Goa, India and was attended by 102 delegates, 18 Indian and 6 international faculty including Drs. Anthony Yeung, Gun Choi, Hyeun Kim, Tolgay Satana, Tarik Yazar, and Sriphirom Pornpavit. This was one of the rare meetings where we had all major endoscopy and spinal implants companies present at same time.
